From Bangalore, India, Screetus is a prog/alt rock band that weaves together melancholic melodies, poignant storytelling, and a deep exploration of human experiences and emotions. Their music draws inspiration from a wide range of artists including Steven Wilson, Opeth, Tool, Radiohead, Nirvana, Pink Floyd, and many more, resulting in a unique sound that defies easy categorization. 

In 2020, Screetus released their debut prog EP, 'Auburn Garden', which was written during the height of the Covid-19 pandemic. In 2024, they unleased their much-anticipated debut full-length album, 'Into The Ether'. Auburn Garden deals with stories of abuse told by various narrators of differing perspectives, while Into The Ether is a concept album that explores themes of loneliness, rejection, rage, obsession, and the common thread of death. Both records were accepted favourably by reviewers and magazines. 

As Screetus marches forward with their dedication and passion for music, they are poised to make an indelible mark on the progressive rock scene and beyond.
